The Episcopal Church is part of the worldwide Anglican Communion. We are both Catholic (true to the historic Christian faith) and Protestant (reformed and evangelical). This walk in the middle way is a hallmark of Anglicanism and of the Anglican Church in the United States, known as the Episcopal Church. You are welcome here with all of your doubts and questions! At St. John's we like to be with each other, and to do things together! Whether it is a potluck, crafting after coffee hour, or flipping pancakes on Shrove Tuesday, our social fellowship is lively and enjoyable. The food is always great, and we treasure the opportunity to get to know one another in a social context.
